The Psion class and the Summoner class appear to be well thought out implementations of these concepts. As an example, while the summoner has access to powerful summons and the ability to enhance the abilities of summoned creatures, significant restrictions on spellcasting while controlling a summoned creature, as well as action economy restrictions limit the power of the summons. The summoner can have two active summons, and can use their action to command both summoned creatures to take actions from their stat blocks. At 11th level, this can be done as a bonus action, but at the cost of gaining a point of exhaustion.

This Tome provides a buffet of content for your games. It provides a campaign setting that is both flexible and evocative in its own right, great for dungeon masters looking for a new experience that incorporates more than the standard medieval fantasy tropes. It provides two core classes, the Psion and the Summoner, both of which are mechanically deep and provide options for players who wish to have a stronger psychic warrior/true summoner archtype to choose from. The core classes also receive some attention with subclasses for the barbarian and fighter being particular stand outs to me. The Path of the Alley born truly gives an urban barbarian feel and the Dragon Disciple fighter I feel gives Breath of Fire vibes very strongly. Other options include new spells and older spells with new modifications available to them. The Tome introduces feat paths, which allow a character to develop a new strong branch for their character, almost akin to an extra subclass. For equipment, exotic armors and weapons are introduced as well as a variety of body modifications which allow for an interesting intersection of new mechanics and character depth/flavor. Magic items within the Tome of Endless wonders are many and feel deeper and more memorable both for their descriptions and abilities. Rounding out the book we have a variety of dm's tools for adding flavor and theme to your encounters as well as many npc stat blocks and new varieties of many staple monsters as well as sample encounter builds for them. The Tome of Endless Wonders will be a valuable addition to any palyer's or dm's trove of books and resources.

I must say, even though so many subclasses they are all unique and so equal in powerlevel that you so rarely find among 3rd-party or homebrew, it is amazin.

KVC has done it again creating a subclass supplement worth buying. The author solicits feedback in every part of the subclass creation process. The subclass concept, feature and artwork has been created and tested against WotC subclasses to make sure the power level is appropriate.
