The temple is silent, save for the flicker of candle flames casting dancing shadows on ancient stone walls. You feel an inexplicable pull toward the altar. As symbols of your deity begin to glow, an unseen force beckons you with a calm yet firm energy. This is no ordinary night of prayer.

In the heart of the temple, bathed in divine light, you sense your destiny unfolding. A vision of yourself as an Avatar Cleric emerges, channeling the full might of your deity. The path is clear, but the choice is yours.

Do you unlock your divine potential?

Interesting option for NPCs or PCs

This looks like a great way to surprise a party with the Avatar transformations. It also has potential to be fun for players as well. Clerics are often relegated to doing support only. This class offers some extra combat abilities and powers, not to mention greatly intimidating enemies. Since it is alignment agnostic, it would really make a Priest Lich terrifying.

Dang, that Priest Lich route sounds epic. I loved the idea of the players suddenly feeling less keen about their decisions when their quarry blows up in size! Same with enemies!

    Fun Subclass

The avatar subclass channels the Cleric's deity in combat. One can grow a size larger with the level 1 skill, then channel divinity to grow another size at level 2. A fun and interesting concept for a cleric to play!

Thanks, John! Glad you're enjoying it. I really liked the concept of feeling that larger than life mechanic!
