What's Inside:
🔹Balanced Summoner Class: Bring forth powerful entities to fight alongside you with this painstakingly balanced new class.
🔹7 Distinct Summoner Subclasses: Bring forth gargantuan summons with devastating attacks with the Colossus, evolve your perfect creation with the Evolutionist's extreme precision, or explore one of the other 5 options created with extensive community feedback to meet your wants.
🔹28 Transformative Force Augments: Unique options to dial in your summoner build such as healing allies when your summon deals damage, increasing the size of your summon, or switching places with your summon.
🔹11 Inspirational Build Guides: Detailed evolutionist builds showcasing ideas to build everything from a guardian angel to a Frankenstein monster.
🔹The Spirit Warlock Subclass: A new warlock patron summoning forth mighty totems and, even for brief moments, unleashing their patron themselves.
🔹4 Empowering Eldritch Invocations: Augment your warlock with additional capabilities like Totem Conduit, damaging all who pass between you and your totem, or Unstable Earth, creating minor quakes at will.
🔹Unleash the Power of Convergence: Tap into forbidden magic, amplifying your abilities. This power is accompanied by random effects, some of which are good such as being given a treasure map by a friendly shopkeeper or guaranteeing a critical hit on your next attack. Others are not, such as being followed around by a ghostly bagpipe quartet or falling 1d100 feet into a sinkhole that suddenly appears under you.
🔹15 Versatile Creatures: Leverage the mental formulation, a flexible creature developed for summoners to ensure a summon is available for every level regardless of the types of creatures you've encountered on your adventures (Works for wild shape druid feature too!).
🔹Cooperative Summoning Rules: Have more than one summoner in the party? Combine your powers to bring forth legendary creatures!
🔹12 Exotic Weapons and Armor: Dragon silk armor, bulwark shield, and war scythe are but a few of the new tactical equipment options.
🔹Exotic Weapon Crafting: Simple mechanics to add more capabilities to your weapons such as the ability to cleave through multiple foes or incorporate fateweaver silk to act first in combat.
🔹Symbiotic Equipment: Clear details for creating equipment that has a mind of its own and progressively increases in strength based on how you use it.
🔹18 Intuitive Feats: Options to bring your vision to life including the ability to manifest as a shadow upon death with one last shot at stealing life or the companion caller feat path, a five feat chain that lets you add a summoning archtype on top of any class.
🔹41 Summoning-Themed Spells: Spells like chest burst and monstrous transformation are new options in your spellbook.
🔹Ancient Lore of the Summoners: The details you need to add summoners and the rest of the content into your world.
🔹No AI Illustrations: Art crafted in partnership with humans outputting masterpieces.

Back when I played 3.5 picnics left a bad taste in my mouth. But the codex makes me want to give it all a shot again with all of its subclasses.
Thanks, Odon!
Credit is due here to the community. Key was bringing you all in, so we didn't recreate the messes we've seen in the past!

Legends of the Psions is a great resource for players looking for some fun new options at the table. One of the biggest selling points is the new Psion class. The Psion of Creed's Codex is a martial character, with abilities inspired by Jedi and other "psychic soldier" type characters, and plenty of opportunity to customize to fit one's playstyle.
Also included in the book is the new Exochron race, who will give players different bonuses depending on what class they take (almost like a favoured class bonus from Pathfinder, although it is mechanically different).
Feat Paths are also a new feature of the book. These are chains of feats (one feat acts as a prerequisite to the next) that almost act like a second archetype for your character.
If you're on the DM-side of the screen, there's monster stat-blocks with a lot of lore behind them that can help to flesh out Psions in your world.
Creed's Codex also keeps up a high quality of artwork, which was appreciated about Arcane Secrets. Overall, I am very pleased to give this book a place on my gaming shelf.
Thanks, Benjamin! The artists really outdid themselves for the artwork and you all helped bring about some really fun ideas.
The feat paths was a random remark in one of the surveys, and I couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. You all are amazing!

Arcane Secrets of the Summoners has a lot of material and additions for each class. I have read every subclass and all the features and feats in the book, most of the latter pertaining to the summoners specifically. They are all unique and offer many choices to fit the playstyle anyone may wish. It was a little confusing at first, but with subsequent reads, it all comes together to form a wonderful book of summoners. If you and/or you're playgroup are looking for a true summoner, instead of playing wizards or sorcerers that summon, I highly recommend this entry in Creed's Codex.
Thanks, Mitchell!
Let me know if you have thoughts to add clarity, always love feedback and making the products even better!

I got this off a kickstarter and I am quite pleased with the results, I've read through every subclass, the new race, the feats, and much of the rest of the book. I am quite excited to start using it in my own campaigns. If you're looking for Psionic supplementals for your dnd campaign, this book is a fantastic addition!
Glad you're enjoying it, Mitchell!
Thanks for the early support. Love to hear how it fairs compared to the summoner in your mind one of these days!

This is a truly different addition to the almost 50 year legacy of D&D (actually Advanced D&D technically, by no reason to quibble over WotC/Hasbro mangled terminology). On the one hand the abilities evidenced in the writing and the careful crafting of the classes and subclasses is first rate and the summoner's created thereby are something lacking this type of depth in the WotC worlds, or they are lacking completely. On the other hand, that said, it is not necessarily an easy "pick up" and even more difficult if trying to fit into a non-WotC world. Depending on the design of the magic system, planes, how summonings work or DON'T in a world, the outcome may be different from that envisions in the Rules As Written (RAW). But on the gripping hand, this is not to say that it is not worth the trouble to thoroughly read the RAW and see what adaptation(s) might be required or simply be wise in a home-brew world. But, this is the nature of all materials that might be applied to a home-brew world/campaign.
Overall, the material is extremely well done and has a strong and unique flavor that adds to the D&D universe very well. Whether you use it as RAW or a starting point which needs modification to work with your home-brew campaigns it is a worthy addition
Thanks, Dan!
Happy to hear you enjoyed the implementation. Definitely a passion of love, and nothing makes me happier than hearing that it's appreciated!

And now I have One and it's amazing
That was pretty much my exact thought process when I embarked down the road of building the summoner!

Class and subclasses are very well written with tons of options, personal favorites are colossus and hivemind
Thanks, Dylan! Colossus was the first one I built. Who doesn't want a giant companion?!

This book has it all! New skills, spells, obviously class, and is incredibly well put together. I have the PDF and can't wait to get my hands on the physical copy. One of the first 3rd party books I bought for 5e and I am hooked.
Thanks, Daniel!
Stoked you're enjoying it! You certainly helped root out any issues with it during the playtesting after the Kickstarter campaign!

The summoners is a great addition to the 5e 3rd party content! Knight Vision Creative dots a great job reviewing and testing content and details from fan submitted content.
Thanks, Justin! You all have such amazing ideas. Inspiration is just a discord message away!

The class alone has a bunch of options for building, but then the subclasses crank it to 11. On top of that, the new spells feats and items are a lot of fun.
Thanks, Bones!
I'm super stoked to see the additional summoner subclass come to life in the Awakened Mind add-on from our last campaign!
